Dallas, TX board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Naveen Setty provides a wide range of dermal filler injections to help with the signs of aging by addressing wrinkles, lines, and lost volume. Restylane (Refyne, Defyne, Silk, and Lyft) is a popular injectable dermal filler as it treats many issues with specialized formulas for results that last. Restylane uses a synthetic version of the body's natural HA (hyaluronic acid), providing the complexion a softer, natural appearance that is full and supple. A personal dermal filler plan can ease mild, moderate, or severe facial wrinkles and lines, and also add fullness to the cheeks and lips. Setty Plastics & Aesthetics has locations in McKinney and Dallas that carry many of the Restylane injectables, including:
Improves the appearance of facial folds and wrinkles
- Restylane Defyne
Treats moderate to severe laugh and smile wrinkles
- Restylane Lyft
Provides lift and volume in the mid-face
- Restylane Refyne
Smoothes light to moderate laugh and smile wrinkles
- Restylane Silk
Creates fullness in the lips and smoothes vertical lines on the lips
Restylane dermal fillers are suitable for any person older than 21 years old who would like to refresh their overall appearance. Since this injectable has several formulas with varying strengths, your treatment plan can be personalized to meet your needs. Restylane may help you address initial signs of aging, such as fine facial lines, or the decrease in the fullness in your cheeks or lips. It may also improve severe wrinkles, like frown lines, laugh lines, Crow's feet, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, and more. Ideal candidates should also report to having any allergies at your consultation with Dr. Setty to prevent a negative reaction.
"Botox, Juvederm, and Restylane Injections Vs Radiesse 30 Y.o. Asian Female - Mckinney, TX - This is my second time having botox and fillers with Dr. Setty. I've been getting botox and fillers done since 2008 from a different plastic surgeon. I'm just extremely happy that I found Dr. Setty. He is not only a skillful surgeon, but also an honorable and genuinely good person. He is the first plastic surgeon I've ever encountered that absolutely puts my needs first. His technique is also unmatched. My pain and swelling is minimal so I can resume normal activities a lot sooner. I can't imagine ever going to another plastic surgeon again. His office staff is also very friendly!"- S. / RealSelf / Apr 30, 2015
Restylane treatments are performed in all of the offices at Setty Plastics & Aesthetics. A numbing cream may be put on the treatment areas for greater comfort if desired. The filler is injected into your skin with a fine-gauge needle and then massaged so it reaches the selected areas. Several injections may be performed then followed with a cold compress to reduce inflammation. All the Restylane formulations are injected with the same technique but in different areas based on your unique concerns and cosmetic goals.
What to Expect
Once your Restylane treatment is finished, your recovery period will vary based on where and what you had injected. The injection sites may be slightly swollen and red, but it typically resolves on its own within a day. Bruising may occur, but this may be camouflaged with cosmetics. It's suggested that you avoid strenuous activity for a day, and you should sleep with your head propped up for at least one night. Many patients will see visible changes right after the procedure, but it usually takes 1 – 2 weeks for the final results develop.
