This patient in her late 50s was bothered by heavy upper eyelids and a tired appearance, feeling that excess skin was weighing down her eyes and making them look smaller.

During the consultation, we discussed how upper eyelid dermatochalasis (excess skin) can create a sense of heaviness and even contribute to difficulty applying makeup. We also reviewed that this procedure can be performed comfortably under local anesthesia, allowing for a quicker recovery and return to normal activities.

Her results at 3 weeks show improved upper eyelid contour with increased visible eyelid space and better definition, creating a more refreshed and awake appearance while still looking natural and like herself.
