Blepharoplasty
This patient in his late 50s was bothered by heavy upper eyelids and a tired appearance that made his eyes look smaller and less defined.
During the consultation, we discussed how a combination of brow descent, upper eyelid dermatochalasis (excess skin), and true blepharoptosis (weakness of the eyelid opening muscle) were all contributing to his appearance. Simply removing skin with an upper blepharoplasty would not have fully addressed the heaviness, as the low brow position and ptosis were key drivers. A direct brow lift was chosen to elevate the brow in a controlled, masculine way, while ptosis repair improved the eyelid opening itself—allowing for a more complete and functional rejuvenation.
His results show improved eye opening and upper eyelid definition with less heaviness, creating a more alert and energized look while maintaining his natural features.
