This patient in her 60s was bothered by recurrent neck laxity, loss of jawline definition, and a hollow appearance through the midface following a prior facelift.
During the consultation, we discussed how revision facelift surgery differs from a primary procedure, with attention to residual tissue descent, scar planes, and volume loss that can develop over time. In her case, the neck bands and jawline softening were due to recurrent platysmal laxity, while midface deflation contributed to a more aged, less supported appearance. A revision facelift and neck lift were performed to reposition and tighten the deeper structures, with fat grafting used to restore volume and improve overall contour.
Her results show a sharper jawline, smoother neck contour, and improved midface support, creating a more balanced and naturally rejuvenated appearance while maintaining her individual features.
