This patient in her 50s was bothered by early jowling, loss of jawline definition, and a tired appearance around the eyes and midface despite otherwise good skin quality.
During the consultation, the discussion focused on how facial aging was being driven more by tissue descent and volume loss rather than excess skin alone. The deep plane facelift was selected to reposition the underlying SMAS and midface as a single unit, rather than creating a pulled look from the surface. A neck lift addressed early laxity and contour blunting along the jawline. A brow reset was included to subtly elevate the brow position and prevent bunching in the temples, while fat grafting restored volume to areas of deflation, particularly in the orbital area and midface.
Her results at 6 weeks show a smoother jawline, improved neck contour, and more balanced facial proportions with restored softness in the midface.
