This patient in her 40s was bothered by upper eyelid heaviness that made her eyes look more tired and less open. She also could not apply makeup without lifting her eyelid skin.
During the consultation, we discussed how dermatochalasis can blur the natural eyelid crease and reduce the visible platform of the upper eyelid. An upper eyelid blepharoplasty was performed under local anesthesia to precisely remove the excess skin and restore a cleaner contour.
Her results show a more defined upper eyelid crease with improved eye opening and a naturally refreshed look, while still maintaining her original features.
