This patient in her 60s was bothered by excess upper eyelid skin that created a hooded appearance and made her eyes look less defined.
During the consultation, the focus was on identifying what was contributing to the heaviness she noticed. The primary issue was redundant upper eyelid skin affecting the contour and visibility of the natural crease. Upper eyelid blepharoplasty was recommended to remove this excess and restore a cleaner, more defined eyelid shape. The procedure was performed under local anesthesia, which is a common option for appropriately selected patients.
Her results show a smoother, more contoured upper eyelid with improved crease definition. The eyes appear more open and refreshed while still looking natural and consistent with her overall facial features.
