This patient in her 60s was bothered by persistent upper eyelid skin redundancy despite having undergone a previous upper blepharoplasty years earlier. She felt her eyelids still appeared heavy and was looking for additional improvement.
During the consultation, we discussed that her residual heaviness was being caused by a combination of recurrent upper eyelid dermatochalasis and brow descent. While a brow lift would have provided a more complete correction of the upper eyelid fullness, she preferred a more limited approach. Together, we decided on revision upper eyelid blepharoplasty to address the excess skin while preserving a natural appearance.
Her results show a cleaner upper eyelid contour with less hooding and improved eyelid definition. Although some brow-related heaviness remains, the eyes appear more open and refreshed while maintaining her natural facial features.
