This patient in her 50s was bothered by tired-appearing eyes, under-eye hollows, lower eyelid bags, and skin texture changes that made her look older than she felt.
During the consultation, we discussed that facial aging around the eyes is rarely caused by a single issue. In her case, excess upper eyelid skin, lower eyelid fat prominence, volume loss along the tear troughs and cheeks, and skin quality changes were all contributing to her appearance. Rather than treating only one component, we combined upper and lower blepharoplasty with facial fat grafting and CO2 laser resurfacing—a comprehensive approach often referred to in our practice as the “Quadfecta.”
Her results show smoother upper and lower eyelids, improved volume through the tear trough and midface, and healthier skin texture. The eyes appear brighter and less fatigued, while her overall facial appearance remains natural and recognizable
