This patient in her 30s was bothered by mild upper eyelid hooding that made her eyes appear less defined, particularly in photographs. As a younger patient, she was not looking for a dramatic change—her goal was simply to restore a cleaner, more refreshed appearance around the eyes.
During the consultation, we discussed that her concerns were related to a small amount of excess upper eyelid skin rather than significant fat fullness, brow descent, or age-related changes. Because of her favorable anatomy, a conservative upper eyelid blepharoplasty performed under local anesthesia was sufficient to improve eyelid definition while maintaining her natural eye shape.
Her results show a smoother upper eyelid contour with improved crease visibility and less hooding. The outcome is subtle and age-appropriate, creating a brighter, more polished appearance while still looking completely like herself.
