This patient in her early 50s was bothered by heavy upper eyelids that made her eyes appear tired, even when she felt well rested.
During the consultation, we discussed how mild upper eyelid dermatochalasis (excess eyelid skin) was creating a heavier appearance around the eyes. Her brow position was appropriate, so a conservative upper eyelid blepharoplasty under local anesthesia was sufficient to address the concern without changing her natural eye shape.
Her results show a more open, refreshed appearance with improved upper eyelid definition and less heaviness along the lash line. The outcome is subtle and natural, helping her look more rested while maintaining her unique facial features.
